APPEARANCEDawn is a lovely little creature already. Her legs are long and straight, her back short but not too short. She's surprisingly well-proportioned for her age, likely to quickly grow into herself. Like most of her half-siblings, her body is broad in the shoulder, giving potential for a wide chest and a large set of lungs. Her step holds that classic dressage bounce to it, though he adoration for canter has placed her, with little doubt, in the "potential jumper" zone. Of course, with the beautiful conformation of her half-siblings, she's expected to grow into such a gorgeous beast that it won't matter what she's trained for. Her coat is a black, sun bleached brown around her barrel though this, like most of her half-siblings, will likely shift to the full, rich black of her father once she loses the rest of that baby fluff. She has absolutely no markings, making her simple and average until you take her movement and conformation into account.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Dawn is a spunky little foal. For the most part, she's sweet and friendly, often walking right up to the fence to say hello. Of course, she's not about to let it be quite that easy. As soon as you reach out a hand to pet her, she jerks her head back, spins and goes galloping off with a buck and hop. She's the devil in disguise, proud and confidant and not afraid to flaunt it. She loves to show off, adding an extra spring to her step and perk to her head and ears when she knows there's a camera or people watching. It's the perfect base attitude for a show horse, and she's easily going to be worth every penny spent on her.

HISTORYDawn was born on April 28th to a young four year old mare named Firefox. It was the mare's second foal, both with the same father - Don Rico, grandson of both Donnerhall and Hohenstein. She held a strong dressage bloodline on that half of her parentage, along with Rafiki and Feuerberg as her great-grand sires on her mother's side. The poor filly has truly been through much considering her short two months in life. For the most part it was uneventful, but a week ago her mother got sick. She was kept close to the mare, but fed by a bottle to avoid the risk of spreading it to the filly. After a strong fight for a week, the mare passed away. Feeling bad for the filly, Gray took her on as yet another rescue case just before the owners went to put her down to avoid the trouble of trying to keep her alive. He's been stuck bottle feeding the rebellious filly ever since.
