APPEARANCEBeauty seems to have placed its firm grip upon the vibrant mare. She is colored a rich golden hue, which is slightly darker than the standard palomino’s coloring. She has a faint dappling on her hindquarters which are perhaps one of the most admired features of the young mare. She has a blonde mane and tail, with some darker strands laced throughout it. They fall at a tamed but lengthy level, which accentuates a sort of wild beauty about her. The golden hue is deviated by several separate patches of white over her slender build. Her left front limb has a flash of ivory racing halfway up her lower portion of her limb; however her left hind limb has a full white sock on the lower portion of her leg. Her face is painted with a white blaze which forms both a star and snip like pattern. Her deep mahogany eyes are framed by blonde eyelashes and set slightly wide upon her head. She is built more broad than petite, which is the best style for her tall rider, but still harnesses a grace to her liquid movements. She has a jagged scar on the right side of her hindquarters shaped like a checkmark.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Queenie is surprisingly calm and sturdy for her age, thus she makes the perfect mount for her fairly inexperienced owner. She is a stable horse who although seeming to lack in the trouble-making qualities is an extraordinary mount. She is willing and able to ride under most saddles and will perform to the best of her abilities on most days. The mare is trainable but cannot be reprimanded harshly and rather responded to gentle corrections. The mare can be lazy at times, especially during the hotter months, but generally she is active and spirited. Queenie spokes at times though, and she is especially frightened of lightning and thunder.
OWNER[/blockquote]Gabriel Hoffman
HISTORYQueenie was bred and raised in an Akhal-Teke stable in North Carolina, which bragged of their lines relating back to the Turkish horses. In fact, Queenie’s father had been purchased from Turkistan and then brought over to the states to be a stud horse. From a young age she was handled and trained by experienced people who dedicated their entire lives to the world of horses. Professional trainers often came by the breeding farm and trained her and other young and upcoming horses alike. Due to the rarity of her breed, the horses were generally hard to get ahold of for purchase as the stables required extensive research into the potential owners. When she was two years old, Gabriel’s father took a special liking to the sweet disposition of the mare. It took the two of them two years to actual purchase the palomino mare, and quite the hefty sum of money.
