BREEDAmerican Hanoverian
HEIGHT16'3
APPEARANCEHe's a nice bay color with a little splash of red and a little splash of gold. He's got three white socks and a nice big star/stripe. He's got great feet, a nice uphill build, ties in nice in his neck, great length of back, a nice slope in hind quarters. Great full tail, a nice even leg distance/straightness. Very expressive, kind eye. His tail is nice and thick with a little wave in it. He's got a great big movement and when you see him go around it turns heads and he seems to suck all the air from people. His gorgeous movement partnered with his overall gorgeous base. He's a very handsome horse just in the pasture or under saddle. He's very powerful and he knows it and isn't very suited for an amateur who doesn't know much. He's a loaded spring ready to snap, but yet he seems very peaceful and tranquil with his good manners.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Largo appears very laid back and easy and seems to execute most movements almost effortlessly, almost. If he gets confused or pushed he 'bolts' -which is more or less two gallop strides and back to work. He's very odd, he dominates everything as he goes. Even as a gelding some mares get so intimidated that one broke a crosstie and nearly ran into another horse passing by just trying to move away from him. It took a couple of weeks before they tried that again. Largo is a very precise horse, if it isn't explained just right-via leg, hand, seat- then he won't do it, and if you keep asking the wrong way he's going to throw a fit and probably throw you. He's not one to put up with shit for long, but he will tolerate a new rider-as long as it's just walk, trot, canter, or a walk around the trails.

HISTORYLargo was bred in California. A Lortzing and a nice Storm Cat thoroughbred mare were his parents. Largo was first in his foal conformation class and was registered and recognized as an American Hanoverian. He was bought as a three year old by Feiara's mother for something around 40,000 dollars. Feiara and Largo have actually gone threw the NAYJRC. They just made the chopping block, but they made it none the less. They just finished competing last year and spent some time in Germany again before Fei went back to California with him, and the gang, to get De Oro. Largo has competed at every level, except introductory. He has taken Feiara far and even placed a second in the Deja Vu Memorial show and then went on to get a best in show the next day for winning both his classes with a 72.5 and a 78.1 with the best scores of the day.
