001. No godmolding or powerplaying. No godmolding basically means, no one can be perfect, all powerful and incapable of injury, illness or death. Powerplaying is taking control of someone else's character. If either is spotted, there will be a warning. A second offense will earn a three day ban. A third offense will result in a permanent ban. If a small amount of powerplaying is needed to move a topic along, that's fine, but only if you clear it with the other player(s) first.
002. This is an intermediate to advanced site. As such, it is required that all in character posts be a minimum of 100 words. Also, please use the spell-check if you are unsure and use the best grammar you can. Mistakes are understandable, but they shouldn't be everywhere. If you must, use a word processor like Microsoft Word. It won't always be right, but it can still help for the most part. This means no chat speak. Lol, brb, and similar acronyms are acceptable in the cbox only, as long as they are the particularly common ones. Nothing like "lyk", for example, will be permitted, even in the cbox.
003. Only one account per character. Horses owned by your own character may be kept on that character's account. Horses that are not owned by your own character may be kept collectively on a single account, but it cannot be an account with a rider.
004. Please make your username the name of your character - first and last. Middle names may be left out if you wish. Horse accounts can go under your regular name. For example, my horse account would have the username Hazel.
005. Please respect each other. No one enjoys being in a place where others are fighting. If something happens to cause friction between you and another member, please take it to a staff member. The staff is here to try and keep things flowing smoothly, and as such, they will attempt to help ease the tension to the best of their ability. If they are making it worse take it to Hazel immediately. It shouldn't get this far, but if it does, you have steps to take to hopefully make it go away.
006. Swearing is to be kept to a minimum, though some swearing on occasion is just fine. Just be careful you don't overdo it. Please, also make sure that everything you do is within the Proboards Terms of Service, so that the site is allowed to stay open.
007. Please check the names list and the face claims list before making your character. No names may be identical. There may be two characters named John, for example, but only if they have different last names. Face claims are not to be doubled with an exception of identical twins.
008. Due to how the rider levels work, we require that you make your posts on the correct account. You may request a staff member shift some of your points to another of your accounts if you wish, but rider levels are non-transferable.
