APPEARANCEDahlia is a naturally white Thoroughbred filly who was raised in the art of racing. She has a pure white coat and white hair to match, while her eyes are a bright blue, like sapphires. She is pretty average for her breed, standing at only sixteen hands even. Her body is thin and delicate, but is built for speed. Her hind legs are muscular and give her some power while racing. Her body is also built for endurance, which helps in Cross Country. She has a well-chiseled head that is attached to a long neck. The long neck is matched with high withers, a deep chest, and a short back that blends into powerful hindquarters . She also has a lean body and long, elegant legs.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Dahlia is just as a Thoroughbred should be, spirited and bold. She is sweet around her loving owner, but she can be very protective of Raquel. Dahlia can also be a handful at times, due to being a bit of a wild girl when ridden. She can be a very happy-go-lucky horse at times, but she can be stubborn and hard to handle. She is at her best when she is on the racetrack or on a Cross Country course with Raquel on her back. Overall, she is a happy horse who would do anything for her owner and loves the feeling of the wind on her elegant body.

HISTORYMy Black Dahlia and Raquel Lucy met when Raquel was only seventeen. Raquel was looking for a Thoroughbred to train and race, so she had gone to look for one at the sales. At the sales, she ended up seeing a young white foal who needed a home. Raquel paid full price for her and ended up naming the cute little filly My Black Dahlia after a song she had heard on the radio on the way home. They have been together since then and they are the best of friends. It has been two years and they are still going strong.
