OVERALLThe first thing people notice about Tony is that he's tall and gangly. When he was younger, it was even worse since he grew as tall as a beanpole and as wide as a pencil. Now though, he's a sleek, lean figure that you can tell has some power to him though if he got cornered by a 200-something pound guy and took a punch to the gut, he would probably drop like a sack of potatoes. It suits Tony well though, giving him something of a casual, almost lazy appearance. He's got wavy dark brown hair that he usually keeps at a medium length and hid under a tan cowboy hat when he can get away with it. Dark brown eyes give him a friendly and approachable look but they project every emotion that goes through him like an eighty inch television set on its loudest setting. On a normal day Anthony can be found wearing worn out blue jeans and a t-shirt or some sort of printed overshirt with a white undershirt. He choses work boots over high end Italian leather shoes any day and on occasion wears a cowboy hat when he goes riding, more out of habit than anything. On his right upper arm, Tony has a stylized blue and black cross tattoo that he got on his eighteenth birthday. The tattoo covers up scarring from a car accident when he was younger as well as the surgeries that were required to repair it.

PERSONALITYBorn and raised in a small town, Tony had no chance of being anything other than a gentleman. Despite his height and his cowboy appearance, Tony couldn't swat a fly if he tried. He always shows respect to people unless they do something to make him change his tune, but always bites his tongue when that person is an adult. Jimmy, his younger brother, used to make fun of him for it but Tony is the sort that takes it with a smile and ruffles his hair and goes on about his day. Anthony isn't big on violence and is more often than not a peacekeeper. He'll do anything for you, even if he's just met you because he believes quite firmly in his dad's philosophy that kindness is repaid in kindness. He's simple at heart, no wild schemes or cut-throat intelligence. With him, though he hates to admit it, what you see is often what you get. Tony doesn't think of himself as anything special but likes finding the best in others and showing them that they can be great too. His humble persona usually gets him either picked on or used as a doormatt but he just can't seem to change his ways. Around girls, he clams up and slinks off into the background because he's too darn shy to say a thing. Sadly though this always seems to earn him more attention than he wants and he ends up tripping or making a fool of himself, or at least so he thinks.

HISTORYBorn in the small town of Belle, Kentucky, Tony is the oldest son of Russel and Maria Masters. Their family owned a small horse farm breeding quarter horses for three generations. The farm was a bit of a local hotspot, the hub of many town bonfires and provided a location for the annual 4th grade farm trip each year. Tony grew up loving horses, beginning at the age of three when his dad put him up in the saddle of their oldest, gentlest mare Bluebell. From then on, the horses became his obsession. He would often spend nights out in the barn when one of the mares was about to birth and helped deliver his first foal at age ten. When his brother Jimmy and sister Sarah came into the picture, Tony tried to share his love of the farm with them but with little success. Jimmy was more interested in cars and Sarah hated the mess and dirt that came with farm life, preferring the clean-lined modern feel of bigger cities.
At fourteen Tony was involved in a two car accident on the backroads of Belle while he and a friend were helping his dad haul in a new horse. The accident left him with a jarred shoulder that tends to get a bit stiff from time to time even after rehab and therapy. That same year he fell off of a young colt he was helping break in, a cold named Midnight Madness. The colt reared and bucked and ended up kicking Tony. While he maintains sight in that eye, he has trouble focusing on long distances and sometimes gets headaches. Thankfully neither of these problems stops him from being able to do his job and want to keep moving. He maintains his shoulder by continually stretching it to keep it from locking up and wears reading glasses when he has to drive or read something at length.
When he turned twenty, Tony offered to leave home to stay with his uncle Gavin to help out with his farm. Since his uncle deals more with cattle than horses, Tony decided to house his horses at the local rehab stable, Damaged Soul. Whisky and Sweet are just about the only things Tony has brought to town other than the clothes on his back and his ground-in shy southern-boy attitude. He's been interested in volunteering at the stable where he houses his horses but hasn't quite decided for sure yet.
