OVERALLPoppy is petite but that doesn't keep her from dressing the way she wants. Whens he isn't riding, she usually sports jeans, cute tops and shoes, which are usually worn for comfort and not looks. Pretty much whatever she picks up at forever 21, macy's or banana republic. Her wavy brunette hair is usually down, after being in a helmet all day she kind of likes letting it down to give her head a break! At the barn, she sports her breeches, polo shirts and tall boots. Her hair is worn up in ponytail and stuffed into helmets when she's in the saddle. Make up isn't essential to her, but when she does step out of the house she does like to have a little bit on. Mainly just powder and mascara, nothing more unless she has to, like if she were going to an event of some sort. Her style is pretty 'preppy' you could say, but that doesn't define her as a person.

PERSONALITY- - intelligent , .partially book smart, poppy knows a lot about common knowledge, you know, things you learned in school. she enjoys reading but mainly books about horses theses days. she likes to make educated, smart decisions in everyday life and hates when she sees others fail to do the same. her goal is to use her smarts to help people, rather than belittle them.
- - fun loving , life is all about seriousness and poppy understand that. she likes have a good time in moderation. celebrations and weekend get together are good with her but, she is very responsible, so stupidity isn't her thing. but, unfortunately, she gets into situations that she tries to avoid. but all in all, she likes having fun at shows and around the barn and at parties, occasionally.
- - mediator , growing up, poppy was always the mediator in her friends disputes. she's since then carried on with it and tries to help out others and settle things. sometimes she cares too much and gets herself involved, when she really shouldn't...
- - friendly . though at times she can be intimidating, poppy is a very friendly person. she doesn't shy away from new faces and likes to introduce herself and make friends. her thought is why go through life portraying yourself as someone people don't want to befriend?
- - mistrusting , after an incident in school with a group of friends, poppy has a hard time trusting others. it takes her a while to have that feeling and to know the person won't ditch her and leave her astray. it's not impossible for her to trust someone, it just takes a special person and some time.
- - adventurous , jumping horses is pretty adventurous don't you think? but poppy doesn't stop there. she loves traveling, hiking, doing whatever in the outdoors and abroad. she likes to get out of her comfort zone in order to feel comfortable doing something or experience something new, like anew culture or new activity.

HISTORYpoppy grew up in a small town in california. her father was a busy accountant, always traveling while her mother worked at a college as a professor. poppy from a young age learned to be independent and fend for herself at home and at school. her school life when she was younger was pretty normal. she was a good kid who did what she was told, not wanting to disappoint her teachers and her parents. as a reward for her good grades one day, her father, who was home from his travels, bought her a horse. the horse was a jumping veteran who poppy learned to ride at a stable near her home. at the time, showing and riding was her hobby. it wasn't until she was in high school that it became her passion.
at fifteen, she had to retire her old mount and purchase a new steed. the horse was her present one, zee. at age eleven, zee was a good sized warmblood cross that shared a love for jumping with poppy. for the longest time, though, poppy could hardly ride him. she struggled with her school work and the pressures of her friends that often called her riding 'silly' and a 'waste of time'. her closest friends, even, thought those thoughts and pulled her away from riding slowly while poppy failed to realize it. reality snapped at her one day when she over heard her friends discussing how easy it was to get poppy to do whatever they wanted, playing her like a puppet. they spoke about going to parties and such, but poppy had had enough of it.
she broke of her friendship with them shortly after and got serious about her riding career. taking online classes and going to school, poppy managed to get her grades while showing zee in jumping shows and being successful without adde don stress. now, at age eieghteen and graduated from school, poppy has more freedom and motivation. the freedom to have more fun in life, but more motivation to go further in her career.
