APPEARANCEVixen is a beautiful Hanoverian who’s coat is stained a milk chocolate hue, which is darker on her shoulders and hind quarters and fades around her barrel. Her legs are closer to black the further you move down them but even they are split by white socks. There are socks on her two front limbs and then a pastern on her back left leg. She has a slight white star on her forehead, which helps to draw attention to her inquisitive brown eyes. She has large, erect ears that are almost always up and searching for interesting noise. Vixen has a long dark mane and tail which are constantly cared for and generally twisted with ribbons of varying colors. Her build is rather bulky thanks to a good deal of muscle on her bones and Charlotte has to feed her a leaner diet than most as she puts on weight easy.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]This beautiful bay is the definition of a curious creature; she is always investigating the slightest noises and pushing others aside to be able to find their source. She’s a sweetheart for the most part and is content with having anyone and everyone pet her. She’s the kind of horse who will hang her head over the stall door just so everyone that passes will give her a brief scratch. Vixen’s much attached to Charlotte and will follow her around like a dog, even if that means running up and down the fence line so she can see what her owner is doing. She’s a very steady mount and easily a good horse for beginners to ride on and perhaps that’s why she is sometimes such a bore to riders because she’s no real challenge.
OWNER[/blockquote]Charlotte Smith
HISTORYVixen was bought as a three year old from a hunter/jumper stable for the thirteenth birthday of Charlotte Smith. She was an expensive gift but her parents barely noticed the price tag, just that she was a beautifully moving and exceptionally easy to handle horse. After she was purchased she was placed in stall three of six at the Smith’s stable on their manor, where Charlotte continued her training, riding, and competing. She has been with Charlotte for four years now and has grown to be quite attached to the young lady even though there was a period of neglect by her.
