Kale Crane
A young woman slipped out of her room and went to the stables, always quiet. The mare had her head over the stall and her eyes were open and watching as the girl came towards her. "Hey girl." she murmured as she stroked the mare's nose. The voice was one of pain, and hidden anger. The mare snorted softly. Then she led the mare outside, quietly, though her hoof steps could still be heard, if softly. The mare seemed to realize the need for silence ,and the ex-racehorse managed to get herself to move slowly, and lightly.
Kale mounted Sonya bareback in the arena, and by the light of the stars they started to walk. They'd been there a couple of days, and Kale hadn't had any time to just spend time with her horse. She was close to tears when she mounted the mare, and she lost herself in the movements. The mare was light on her feet, and easily controled. She was relaxing visable. She knew that this was probably gonna get her in trouble, but she had to take care of to many things and she needed her horse NOW.

Kale Crane
The young woman sighed as she watched the pair in the arena. He needed to relax. That was his problem. "Relax. Breath. You aren't on a race horse." I am. the last part was to herself, the first just loud enough to carry to the horse. Sonya snorted at the rider in the ring. She knew that there was going to be trouble, and that she was probably going to get in trouble, but the boy needed help.
The ex-racehorse below her, snorted again, then started on her own, to walk around the ring. "hey. Sonya. Stop it." she said quickly looking down, and giving her full attention tot he amre. her seat was good. Not perfect but pretty close. The mare settled easily, though her rider was stressed now. Joy. maybe she should have gone for the trails. occ/// Just want to mention that Sonya and kale were already in the arena.... I was willing to change it in this post, but they were there first. Also i intended this to be late at night. Like 2 in the morning.... Oh well.

[/blockquote][/justify] Notes. Sorry I was wondering since your post said at night.. but there wasn't a specific time so I tried to make it really early, And I didn't quite know if you were in the arena yet or not in your post.. I kind of read it when I was tired so I might have read that part and my mind just missed it, sorry! And I'll let you catch up from there, Will fails epically xD he can't ride for crap but he is fearless, having nothing to really live for makes you a great rider on crazy horses haha! Word Count. Kale Crane
Kale sighed as she watched. The boy had a horrible seat and the stallion was being a brat. She waited until the boy was doing as he was told. She dismounted the chestnut mare, and led the mare closer to the trainer. "Is he an ex-racehorse?" she asked softly watching the pair. The thoroughbred mare stood still blowing softly.
Then suddenly the mare moved to the fence, snorting softly. Kale swept around watching the mare carefully. "What you want girl?" she murmured. She didn't have her father's tallent of hearing what the horses said, what they wanted, but she could read them well. And she was good at seeing the potential. Sonya snorted. "Come on Sonyador. What do you want?" she murmured moving slowly. The mare had kept all of herself on the outside of the fence ,but she was watching the other horse carefully. As if curious, or wanting to say something. She stomped her hoof lightly, waited watching.
Kale frowned as she still held the reins, but now she was on the ground. She watched the boy again. "Can he handle another horse in the ring?"

[/i] Like you're reclining in your favorite easy-chair. Good there! Perfect!" Will gave Fei a skeptical glance. "Don't look at me like that. Look in the mirror at your position. Sit the trot now." Will made a pained face and Fei laughed a little, "Go ahead and post. Next time fix that problem." Will nodded. "Catch him! He's going to-" The stallion erupted, pulling against the outside rein and banking to the left in the middle of the arena. Will sat nicely, grabbing the outside rein and pulling him in a circle the other way. The stallion grunted and popped a buck. Will furrowed his brows and grumbled at the horse. "Yell at him, tell him to knock it off." "KNOCK IT OFF!" Will growled loudly to the stallion, who seemed to hesitate into his last buck. "Now smack him for that with your whip." The boy complied and the horse kick. "Smack again." He bucked this time. "Again until he stops." Will smacked him again and the stallion bucked and leaped forward. Will smacked again and he got a faster canter. "Good, praise him and slow the canter down." "Good boy," Will said, patting the stallion's withers. Fei took another sip of her coffee and watched the girl and her horse. She remembered those days as a child where she had Largo and they'd go walking everywhere and he'd follow like a doting puppy. Fei had a gift with horses in the sense that she could get any horse to follow her and do as she wished, well at least on the ground. But she kept that gift because she made sure her horses knew she was lead mare, and no one messes with lead mare. Fei watched the boy and his crazy horse. This was a good learning experience for the boy, either he'd learn how to handle a horse like that or he'd learn to never ever buy a horse like that again. Either way he was learning and thinking and using some sort of mental and physical power. It helped reduce stress, but it could also induce stress too. Will got the horse on track again and made him keep going in the canter. "Rocking horse canter, thinking rocking horse," Fei said. "And every five strides push him out and then five strides of that bring him back, all the way around the arena." Fei took another sip of her coffee and huddled into her chair. She had to go pick up Fame in a couple of minutes and then she was going to pick up Liza's Gelding and she'd be meeting her back at Silver Star. She got a text. Change of plans, Liza was going to meet Fei before she got the trailer and go with her to get the horses.... She replied back before she asked Will, "Would you like to come with me and a friend to go pick up a couple of horses after this?" "Sure," Will said. "Thats good, trot and then walk and take a nice break. Reins to the buckle." "I don't really trust-" "Reins to the buckle. You need to trust him first before he'll trust you. You have a good enough seat to where you'd stay on if he did try anything." "Okaaay...," Will said with skepticism. "Positive thinking, they can read minds," Fei said in all seriousness. Kale Crane
Kale felt stupid. Of course the horse wasn’t a race horse. Sonya was, but there were reasons behind that. She sighed as she watched the horse and rider. Obviously she was frazzled worse than she thought. Maybe this would be good for her. She glanced at the woman as she spoke. Good. The boy would leave, and she’d have the arena all to her self. ”Alright.”
With that she moved back and to the side, the mare following. ”Come on girl.” she said softly to the mare. The sun was rising, starting to show sonya’s color. But instead of mounting the girl started to cluck softly. The mare started to walk around her, easily picking up speed with a cluck, or just a slight twitch of the reins. They were far enough back to not hit the sitting woman, and leave the boy alone. Then Kale stopped the mare, and moved close. ”Let’s show them how real rider’s ride.” she whispered in the mare’s eare before mounting.
The mare snorted and bobbed her head, as they waited for the boy to leave the arena, before they walked calmly in, and closed the gate behind them. Then with all the pomp of a queen, Sonya picked up into a trot. She switched leads, almost before her rider asked for it. Kale’s seat was good. Not one hundred present, but better than the boys, with her shoulder’s back, and feet down. She posted for a second, then sat into the saddle. The mare picked up into a canter, her movements liquid as the sun caught her rider’s hair under the helmet, making it golden, instead of white blond, and making the mare brighter. She wasn’t noticing the other rider, or trainer as she moved on the outside of the pen, easily keeping Sonya’s full attention on her.

Kale Crane
Kale sighed as she heard the voices. The mare acted as if they weren’t there. It was just the two of them. Kale was facing away from them when the tear fell from her eye, as she asked the mare to round around her haunches. They turned easily, continuing their liquid movements. The mare slowed as her rider’s attention went inwards, though she kept moving.
It took Kale a moment to pull herself back together. Obviously she needed to get out. On a trail. Anything. Away from people. She could feel the anger growing. The mare cantered forward as her rider asked her to, and they came to a quick stop at the gate. Kale dismounted quickly grabbed the gate, and making sure only her mare got out she slipped out of the pen, before mounting the mare again. She turned her away, then stopped. Right have to be polite. ”Um… I and Sonya are gonna go. See ya around.” she called as she then moved the mare towards the trails.
Occ// I couldn’t figure out what to do… So you can end it if you want, or what ever. Sorry.
