BREEDThoroughbred
HEIGHT16.1 HH
APPEARANCEWith long legs, and a boxy head she's a very fast tb. A star is in the middle of her forehead, and she's a light coppery color. A beautiful chestnut as it may be. Her long legs help in dressage and jumping, as well as racing. Her mane was recently cut shorter, as her tail, but it's the same color as her hide. She's usually shiny and sleek but that's not always the easiest thing to do. She loves to roll, so she ends up caked with dirt. She looks good under saddle, smooth and sleek, never quite going bulky, even if her neck has thickened from her racing days, and she's filled out more.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Calm, and smart, Sonya is always willing to do as her rider asks. She's easy to get along with, and easy to love, for she loves easily. Altogether she's a good mare, willing and smart. She knows no bounds, nor is she willing to hold herself to them. She is the top of food chain in her mind, and yet she doesn't lord it over ALL the horses, just most. After all she was the prize mare at Crane Farm, so why would she know any different? She's playful, and loyal to Kale. She carries her owner's bag often, following the girl around. She's never gotten in the flowerbed, and is used to just walking around her farm, so she's annoyed at being stuck in a stall. She's worried about Kale and it shows with how careful she is around her owner, and how well she works under the girl, almost afraid to anger the girl.

HISTORYBorn of good bloodlines, she was trained to be a racer. When she was about three she broke her canon bone, in a spiral fracture. Her trainer and his daughter took on the training of the beautiful chestnut horse, morning the fact that she couldn't pass on her blood lines, for she was infertile. A year after she won the Breeder's Cup Championship, she was retired, and placed into training for a three day eventer. Just for her owner, and favorite person Kale. She trained quickly, her only thing was that she wanted to run. She still does that that's what holds her back from rising to a level three eventer.
