It was just his opinion. He had never been conceited enough to believe his opinion was the only one that could be correct. Well, until you got to certain subjects. You just didn't correct him on math, for example. He was right. Always.
He didn't mention he'd acted a few times. It had just been small plays - not school ones, he'd been too young then to be of any use, but others - so he didn't really include them. Not to mention, he hadn't really wanted to perse, he'd been more dragged along by friends and ended up with a part.
Nothing wrong with talking, not really. It's far better than being afraid to speak your mind.
He murmured softly into their conversation. He wasn't sure they'd even hear him, really. He didn't care so much if they did. It wasn't his own advice, after all, just something he'd been told by Emily. With the words, he glanced down a moment, lost in a world of thought - memories, this time, not academia - but he soon snapped his eyes back up again, albeit no real smile accompanied it this time. Just a very small, hardly noticeable, forced upturn at the corners of his mouth.
