APPEARANCETo see him, most would claim Dee to be a quarter horse cross, or even some finer boned draft cross, but neither is the case. He is, in fact, a purebred Kiger mustang, taken straight from the wild. His body is a beautiful orange-gold shade which peppered the backs of his dark-brown, not quite black, lower legs. His front left foot has a small sock that doesn't even reach his fetlock hair, with the sock on his back left being about twice the height of the first. He has what look to be very thin, broken up zebra lines of the same deep brown on his legs. They are few, but distinctive nonetheless. His mane and tail are properly black, though there is a layer of cream hair mixed in. The cream is at the base of his tail, on either side of the black in his mane, and underneath his forelock. His head is slightly large, though it should look more in proportion when he gets all the right muscles built up.
PERSONALITY[/blockquote]Dee is, first and foremost, untrusting and dangerous to handle. Of course, this is hardly due to abuse or terrible owners. In truth, Dee has never been owned before. He lived life wild for the first three and a half years of his life and it shows. He isn't your average aggressive stallion, rather a wild untamed one which makes him all the more unpredictable. He is overly protective of mares and females persons who he claims as "his," and all geldings, stallions and men should stay far away. He isn't afraid to charge, bite or kick to get you away if he doesn't like you, and he doesn't like a whole lot of people. He's hardly had any good experiences with them, after all - why should he give them the benefit of the doubt when they took him away from everything he knew and loved, only to make him do what he didn't want to do? And honestly, could anyone really blame him for that sort of reaction?

HISTORYDee was born out on the range. He was purely and completely wild. As he was getting older, so was his father, and by the time he was two, his father was far too old to stand up to the young colt, despite his years of experience. With minimal wild horses, Dee ruled unchallenged by any equine until he was three and a half. Then, terror struck in the form of mankind. They rounded up what they could of the herd, leaving many a mare stranded with their foal, or foals lost without their mothers, and all with no leadership for he had been taken as well. He fought the capture as hard as he could and broke quite a few bones in his struggle. He could have come to trust male humans, likely, at least until one zapped him with a cattle prod. He hasn't gone near one since, not of his own accord. He's been bounced around between auction houses since and even meat men haven't dared go near him. Then, one day, Hayden's eyes met his and she instantly saw herself - the next thing she knew, she had him as hers. She has no idea what she's doing, but she's rather good at pretending like she does and she's read probably at least a hundred articles so far to try and make it seem like she knows what she's doing. That's perhaps the one thing he has heard the most often from her; "Fake it til you make it."
